      Jesus Is Now In Hell

In all seriousness, if Jesus had the power to do anything, and chose to die, he therefore committed suicide.

      Freaking emo Gods.

      Not die, sacrifice himself.

It's different than suicide, I think.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

Personally, I don't think this thread is dealing with the issue of religion seriously enough.

in the OT of the bible, it was necessary to have a sacrifice for your sins. ie. a goat, a lamb. it had to be "unblemished" and clean. Jesus was sacrificed for all our sins, he was a perfect and pure sacrifice since he had no sin. So now animals don't have to be sacrificed for our sins.

Which is lucky. I don't think I could afford to lose another goat.

Funny that God, an omnipotent being capable of doing anything needs us to kill goats for him, really.

      I guess I shouldn't worry about it.

Where was the 'sacrifice' in your Jew Zombie's death?

Immortal spirits have precious little to lose from physical death, I imagine.

If sacrifice is so great, why doesn't Christianity practice it?

I just find it hard to believe that Jesus as a kid never refused to eat his peas, or told him mom "no" or told joseph he could screw off because he wasn't his real dad. Seriously..... kids are just ripe with sin.

Jesus died for nothing. There is no such thing as sin. It's just another name from you feeling shame over something completely irrelevant. Oh no! I masturbated! Forgive me....like a billion times.

If I was immortal then killing myself and then coming back to life is hardly a fucking sacrifice.

When animals die, they stay dead.

      Why didn't jesus?

Well because the NT is just OT fanfic. And a poor one at that. The main character was such a Gary-Stu!!

On topic: "Three Versions of Judas", a short story by Jorge Luis Borges, deals with roughly this. I won't spoil it any further though.

I rule the death of Jesus a suicide. Its kind of like those shooters who get in a shoot out with Police. Its called suicide by crosfire or somethin like that.

Anyway here is how i got there.

Jesus is the son of god, and yet he is god at the same time. Weird logic but I guess Christianity is that way.

Anyway since Jesus is god at the same time and god decided to have Jesus killed for mankinds sins that makes it a suicide because thus Jesus chose to have himself killed, and whats really typical of suicides Jesus left a suicide note (New Testament lol)

So there you have it Jesus is a sinner, man without sin my ass.

Jesus is with his Father, in the Kingdom of Heaven. He only sacrificed his human life for us, which to people on this planet, is an enormous sacrifice.

You have to put things into context, because taking things out of context leads to error. Besides, Jesus did not nail himself to a cross.

Nothing too difficult for Super Jesus. He was very resourceful.
