I see oftenly, my posts and others are scrutinized prematurely because people react to the first sentence before they see the elaboration. That's why I don't like people separating them, because it takes things out of contexts and promotes the misunderstanding of ideas.

And honestly, I'm an empiricist. You are possibly in your own right, but empircism is about playing with ideas, not just rejecting the ones that don't appeal to you.

I have no prejudice against atheists, and I think your separation of my post in what promoted this misconception. I simply have a rant to make against people claiming to be atheists that have stagnated truth in their minds and closed themselves off to new interpretations of life.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I would normally take no offense to what you said and add that, yes, there are always civil disputes amongst paradigms.

      Except, you said:

But some take it farther, such as O'nus has revealed in some of his posts ...
And then followed up with things that I do not feel is at all applicable to me.

You are so concerned about people scrutinizing your posts prematurely and worried about people jumping on your comments and yet here you are making claims about me without even asking me how I feel about them yet.

I am not rejecting any sorts of ideas. What are you talking about? I take on an eclectic paradigm which incorporates the appropriate paradigm for each individual case. Can't get any more dynamic and open minded than that, can you?

So is your potential, and I await to see it manifest.

Great... nice knowing that you'll flip out at the next chance you get... I really look forward to the discussion...

My Youtube comment: Where do we atheists get our ethics? From conscience, the mechanism that makes causing innocent people to suffer cause our own suffering. It is an autonomic response. We don't need religion to be hungry or to want to breathe... or to have conscience.
Now I have a question. Where do child molesting priests, gay bashers, Christian bigots, and suicide bombers get their ethics?

Atheists generally don't want to take religion out of society. We want it out of the government, just like Christians want Islam out of the government.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I wouldn't mind taking it out of society... it's just so primitive, I don't see what it'd be good for.

I believe the prison population per demographic head is much higher for Christians than atheists, which is funny.

      I agree 100%
I post in a similar style as you. Aside from the fact that you can spell and make sense.
      But -
I put everything in one post because it represents one entire idea.
is exactly how I feel my posts are presented.
All too often they are broken up like if one were to take a complete painting and cut it in fours.

I however think it is a shortcoming on my part. Or I've been brought to believe so.

Regardless, thanks for bringing that up.

That is very scary. Most of the Youtube commenters are cerebrum surgeons and space station engineers, and arguing with them is very intimidating. But I go through a two hour ritual every day to make sure I have the balls to take on the challenge.

Yeah, I know it is infested by the world's biggest idiots, but I can't watch a video where such asinine statements are made about atheists and not comment on it.

Remember when Myspace pulled a bunch of atheist groups off their site? What about THAT discrimination?
