so much unexplained things--to me, in my opinion there has to be a God of this earth...
Why does that mean anything other than "there's a lot we don't yet understand"? A lack of knowledge is no reason to believe in a god, it's a reason to believe that there's currently a lack of knowledge.

I've never understood this reasoning, and it seems to be reasonably common.

The only thing in life that irks me towards a belief in anything having to do with a creator.. Is where did the original material that exploded in the big bang come from..

P.S. The Bible isn't the place to find your creator.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

This either begs the question "where did the creator come from", or "if the creator supposedly always existed, why could the universe not always have existed?"

After all, any creator would have to be far more complicated than the universe as a whole. It therefore makes no sense to believe that it could always have been there, whilst something much simpler (the universe) could not.

But it comes down to this, how did something come out of nothing...

It makes no sense, with or without a God.

And to your question , How can something always exist?

If you get an answer to that, let everyone know.

It makes no sense, with or without a God.
I agree, at least with current knowledge. Maybe the question would eventually be reduced down to "why is there a universe in the first place?".

Anyway, even if the universe appeared from nothing, or came about by some completely unknown means, or even if it was always there somehow, it makes even less sense to say it was created. A creator is always harder to explain away than an uncreated universe.

This is the type of paradox that leads people to a belief in a creator. Maybe I'm thinking of a creator as whatever started the spiraling..
