Hm, though I've never smoked Mary Jane, I would be interested in hearing other peoples opinions on how it may have impacted their lucid dreams.

i think it may really depend how good you are at lucid dreaming without mj and personally i've had fewer ld's than well, i've just had only a couple....
i did however "smoke" and try to ld about 2 times.

When you go to sleep high, how great is your clarity?
it is not very good. you aren't very concentrated, so it is hard to find much clairity especially when you are actually going to go to sleep.

      How about sober?
alot of clairity then when i am not exhausted.

When you go to sleep high, how great is your lucidity?
      not great at all...

      How about sober?
once again depends on how tired i am. if i got plenty of sleep the night before then i have great lucidity, if not then it is not so great.

When you go to sleep high, how great is your dream recall?
1 out of the two times i recalled bits and pieces of the dream, but then forgot them like 5 minutes later. (probably because i didn't write them down.)

      How about sober?
i can recall a dream pretty well actually, if it was emotionally strong or had some kind of impact. if not then i don't recall it very well and sometimes not at all.

How fast do you usually go to sleep while high? (in minutes)
uum depends on the activity around me.. sometimes within 30-40 minutes after feeling mj's effects, and sometimes 2-2 1/2 hours afterwards when i am losing the effects.(also depends how much i smoked...)

      How about sober?
it takes me a while to go to sleep because i think too much when not high.. lol
uuummm maybe 2-3 hours after i lay down.

Did you ever dream about using marijuana?
      nope.

      Please describe.
      n/a

      hope this helps.

btw, i don't smoke anymore, so no i will not do trials.... lol unless you are providing.. lol jk

I can't really claim any well-tested correlation, but the time I was smoking the most I seemed to be lucid dreaming the most (could have been coincidence based on the timing) and when I eased up on the smokign as I started school, dry spell (of lucidity and recall in general).

I've been smoking alot of hash lately and my dreams are pretty intense emotionally.
The strangest, richest, deepest feelings I feel in my dreams when I have smoked hash before bedtime.

When I smoke too close before bedtime and/or too much I have trouble remembering my dreams, but when I smoke an amount of hash that will get me an average, calm, not too intense high and go to bed some 4 hours or more after last smoking the hash I end up having really emotionally intense, well rememebered dreams.

It has alot to do with timing, but with the timing right, smoking hash might actually significantly help lucid dreaming.

Interesting. I find hashish to be a much more pure high. Yes, timing, amount, and level of highness (for lack of a better word) are all factors. There so many factors now that I think about it. Strains is another one, and method of ingestion, smoking, vaping, eating, sublingual...

I don't have any positive effects of smoking, however I have an addictive personality, maybe I do it too much. I know my nighttime adventures were way more intense before I started up my bad habit lol.

When you go to sleep high, how great is your clarity?
Not very. just remember a few intense scenes but that's it.

      How about sober?
      I can remember way more.

When you go to sleep high, how great is your lucidity?
      It doesn't happen much.

      How about sober?
      Much easier sober

When you go to sleep high, how great is your dream recall?
Just remember a few fleeting moments

      How about sober?
I can remember the whole thing!

How fast do you usually go to sleep while high? (in minutes)
Good question.... Maybe half an hour.

      How about sober?
A lot shorter. Not sure how much.

Did you ever dream about using marijuana?
Hehehehe no but that would make for fun lucid dreams - taking drugs XD

      Please describe.

if I smoke the actual flower itself it seems to kill my dream-state all together. However, when I was smoking hash oil everyday, that's when I first started having LD's and many other changes to my reality outside of sleep. So, to me, it varies, and might be something to do with a tolerance and dose issue for some
      3/24/12 Was my first.
