Ok, this may not prove to be effective, but I thought of it after reading Stephen Laberge's Book EWOLD: |

That's actually a very interesting method, and I think it might have some potential, even if it does screw up your dream journal. It's definitely worth testing. |

That does sound like it might work. But you have to make up a different name becaue FILD = finger induced lucid dream already. Which by the way only worked 1.5 times for me. |
|
Very interesting indeed, as you say dreams are made of expectations. If you expect to be able to fly, then you will. If you expect to become lucid, then you probably will. |

Back in black!
This sound really interesting! If anyone plans on trying this, please post how it goes, I'd very much like to know! |
|
Interresting that you, like me, have been trying to find out what dreams are made of in the first place. I am planning on buying LaBerge's book too. I really want it to read before bedtime. |

Luminous Spacious Dream Masters That Holographically Communicate
among other teachers taught me
not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.
that idea sounds great mate, i'm also down to give it a try! |
|
Fantastic idea! |
|
Well, i would like to give it a try... i dont really like gettin up in the morning, stay awake for an hour, and go to sleep again anyway |
|
So is this FILD like where we write the dream we would like to have. For instance, I met so and so, and did such and such, as if I wanted it to happen? Would this mean that later I may have actual dreams about that which I wrote? |

Maybe it would help to re-read lucid dreams that you had in the past, or someone elses, and protend you had it, just an idea. |

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
Its all about expectation. The more Lucid Dreams you make up in your journal, the easier it will become to make them up, and eventually you'll be thinking about your next lucid dream, and you'll expect yourself to make one up, and this creativity should come with you into the dream world where you start to think about the next lucid dream you have, thus triggering your sense that you are dreaming. |

This does sound like it might work. |

I gave this Method a try, and didn't have any luck with it, but I don't think I was trying hard enough. After Reading the Book, I think I have a better understanding of how it should work though. |
|
I'm going to try this method over the next few weeks |
|
Sounds worth trying. As for the Dream Journal just use seperate sheets of paper, because your wasting notebooks for just 1 techneque that might not work. Lol, i'm an environmental guy; ya know? |
|
Lol, I just store all my dreams Electronically, writing it down on paper is too much work for me. Anyway, I've been keeping tabs in my mind of all my dreams so far, and got a couple made up with some dream signs already. |
