Being that I'm an audiophile, I had to submit!

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?
      All the time!
      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?
      Yes, again all the time!

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?
      Just like waking life!
      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)?
No, I cant say that I have.

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?
Yes, when I was using sound files (in the real world) theta tones to trigger lucids. They came in the dream as low frequencies as well.

      1) Every dream I've ever remembered having had sound in it.

      2) Every time someone is talking in my dreams, I can hear it. I just don't always remember what they've said.

      3) Hmm, actually, I'm not sure. A lot of sounds seem to just "come to me directly." I don't really notice my ears being the medium, as far as I know.

      4) I feel sound all the time. The louder and more sudden the sound, the more it seems to come to me through the sense of touch.

      5) Nothing out of the ordinary. So, I guess, no.

      1. Not much, I only remember specific sounds in some of my weirder dreams. Oh and I can also hear music very well.

      2. Yes I hear people talk, most of the time I hear the words but only remember the general meaning. Some times I remember the specific words.

      3. I’m not sure, I never heard a sound in my dream that was so loud I had to cover my ears.

      4. Don’t think so.

      5. Not that I remember.

Next time I have a lucid dream I’ll try and cover my ears and see if I can hear sounds.

I can't recall hearing an extremely low sound... but I've heard loud sounds. In one my lucids, actually, I was in the middle of stabilizing my dream and a really loud gunshot suddenly rang through the air and scared the crap out of me

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?

      Probably 98%.

      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?

Yes, but they always talk quiet and have the same voice as me.

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?

      ...I'm not sure

      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)?

      No

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?

People in my dream talk quiet. Also, once in a dream I had a FA and was accidentally "WILDing" back to "sleep" when I heard a huge scream.

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?
Most of the time my dreams have Sound. Some Dreams are very silent or the sound sounds like it comes from very far away and muffled (Drink 10 shots Tequilla in 15 seconds and Observe the F*cked up way you hear everything; Kinda like that)

      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?
Yeah all the time. I'm very scial and conversational in my Dreams. With friends and family. In basically every dream.

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?
Well Good question. I've never fully observed that. But I remember some dreams I had where the sound sounded as if it was from very far away. And indeed, not really like it was perceived through my ears. Also I remember strange dreams where people would speak to me. Their Lips would move, sometimes there would be no sound comming out of their mouths at all, sometimes sound that seemed to come from VERY far awway. And in those typical dreams what they said came to me more like Telekinesis: Speaking with the ''voice of the Mind'' rather than that I understood the Physically pronounced words that the DreamCharacter Spoke. The Hypnagogic Auditory hallucinations I get prior to sleep while trying to WILD are VERY realistic. And they indeed sound like they are heard via my Ears. Only then as if the auditory impulse came from INSIDE my head. Like inside a large hollow hall inside my brains.

      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)? Well I don't know if it's considered sixth sense or not: Speaking with people's via ''Mind-Chat'' instead of hearing the words with my ears. I do remember Emotionally and Touch-Feeling Darkness (in a nightmare where it was near-pitch black). I remember Feeling Chaos, Panic and having the Idea ''everything's now gone wrong'' and Percepting that Emotion/Thought Visually by seeing a bathtub full of water and in it like a 1000 of belts that are knotted together in a big ball. Strange Visual perception, but I have always understood it as Visually perceiving that Emotion and Thought of Chaos, Panic and Disorder. I seem to have a strong Visual/Emotional mind that links Emotions and Thoughts to Visions.

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?
Yeah. In a nightmare I held a piece of fireworks as it exploded in my hands. My vision went black, I felt paralysed and felt that I fell backwards and went Deaf, all instantly. Because of the Blast in my ears was this Ultra-high tone ringing. Well you might have experienced an explosion very close near you. *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!* in your ears for minutes. Super high note and bloody annoying.

OK, so I'm definitely a weirdo. I had never thought of it before, but now that you ask...

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?
Never. I can't remember any sound, talking, music, animal. Be it the rain, the sea, the wind, cars... Everything is silent.

      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?
No. Either we do not talk (I'm a shy kind of person) or we seem to understand each other through some sort of telepathy (?)

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?
      N/A

      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)?
As I said, I communicate without talking, but I can't explain it.

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?
      Never.

This is actually kind of funny, because I have just recently been wondering about sounds in dreams, thanks to one dream where I heard a song that I love.. and realized, that sound is a rare occurence for me.

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?
Not too often, it seems the emphasis is on color...

      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?
I don't believe I do, it's more like we communicate telepathically.

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?
Not really, more like... inside my head.. except, with the music, it was like it was being played through surround-sound speakers

      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)?
Uh.. no, I don't believe so

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?
By low do you mean deep or quite? They're usually quite, but.. erm, average

Very interesting subject, Im kind of an audiophile myself and have tried experimenting with different kinds of music while going to sleep. Not much success yet, though. But Ive found that the smoothest, most chilled music to go to sleep to is either the soundtrack of Atlantis: lost tales (a game) or the soundtrack of Solaris (the new one, though the old one has some nice soundscapes too)

      1. How often do you hear sounds in your dreams?

Pretty much always, but Im not sure that "hearing" is the right word. Since we dont use any physically real senses in dreams, sounds should be more mind-like, from inside the head. Always, since I was born, I can constantly, while dreaming, hear the sound of vacuum. Its not the sound of nothing (or maybe it is) because it somehow sounds. Imagine what a black hole would sound like (sorry, thats the best explanation Ive got). But it does not feel like any sounds are real, although they may seem very real. Au contraire, they may occur as very surreal and distorted, kind of like hearing on LSD. But its all in my head!

      2. Do you ever hear people talk in your dreams?

Sometimes, and I have a feeling they sometimes are "outside" my body (in dreams)

      3. When you hear sound, does it feel like the sound is being heard from your ears?

      Redirect to answer #1

      4. Have you ever used any other sences to hear sound (like seeing or feeling sound, a sixth sense isnt included)?

Yes, not so long ago I dreamt of a very strange device that was speaking for the dead. Imagine a Mystpuzzlemechanicssortof-thingie, a lot of rings, levers, buttons and some mechanical eyes and mouths. The sound of it kept sweeping between my "ears" and "eyes", I could hear the device moving and see it talking (of course you can hear somethin move or see it talking, but I mean it in that other, strange synesthesic way )

      5. Have you ever heard a sound that was extremely high or extremely low in a dream?

No, not really, except for the vacuum (low)
