The Milvoe Technique-- Go on, try it.

No clue if I posted this in the right section, but here it goes.

      Hey!

I've been at DV for a couple months and always looked at some very helpful advice. From Basic facts on recording dreams to Advanced things such as food and medicine. But now, as a kindly thank-you, I'm going to try and make a technique for you. Now, I'm not entirely sure this will work, but If it does, please feel free to post.

This Technique is based of The Monroe Technique and The Silvia Technique. I've combined the two to make it into a HILD. This can be used for lucid dreaming (NOT TESTED, but will do tonight), Astral projection (TESTED and approved), and just relaxing the body (TESTED, and approved).I need at least a couple of people to test this technique out.

What this is/does: It's a simple HILD. Makes you do what you want to do. It won't fully put you into a trance, but you can if you want.

      Instructions

      1. Relax. Make sure there is little* or no noise in your room or where ever you sleep.

*I have tried this technique with some people talking right near my door. Do not have loud noises, such as car horns/alarms or alarm clocks.

      2. Take deep, but calming breathes. And while you are doing this, count. Inhale, 1....Exhale, 2.....Inhale, 3.....and all the way to 50*.

*I have tried 40, but is not recommended.

      3. When done counting, think of a simple message* and will be done by counting/saying from 3-1/a chosen word**. Such as "I will feel relaxed". Then, envision the number or think of the word.

      *I have tried stuff like:

"My feet will feel like their being massaged": Interestingly, my feet had a tingly sensation, like actually being massaged.

"I will feel very comfortable, no matter the position": Very comfortable, for those with back problems or can't find a good position to rest in.

"Vibrations will come on": For astral projecting. Tried it, but didn't leave. You can, I'm still learning how to.

** For example, "I will feel relaxed when I count from 3-1." or "I will feel drowsy when I say 'Knockout'".

What I need for people to do is try this and post here with their experience. You can also PM me if you have questions.

      Good Luck!
