      Chocolate and LDs.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ight=chocolate

I and some other people have had great success with chocolate. I thought I'd just bring it to the research teams attention.

      Carry on!

      DARK chocolate silly

milk chocolate is useless in terms of inducing lds, doesn't have any anti-oxidants like dark choc.

I'll give this a try myself see if it works

don't eat too much Mes, hehe i can just picture you right now eating a bar of hersheys dark choc with chocolate stains on your lips

      Dang!

No wonder this didn't work for me the first time. I was using milk chocolate.

Dark chocolate is nasty though - blegh. But I suppose if it's for the sake of science I'll just have to suck it up.

I read somewhere that 25 pounds of chocalate will give the same affects as on weed because it affects the same receptor.

I don't know if any of you believe in Astral Projection and whatnot, but I've read in several places that chocolate greatly reduces the chances of having a succesful OBE. Maybe this has the same effect on LDing, I don't know.

@Dreamworld: As does sex and pretty much everything that makes you happy. Being in love, eating chocolate, being REALLY excited, they all have similar effects.

I absolutely love dark chocolate, but white chocolate on the other hand..

Anyway, I think raisins have anti-oxidants in them too.

Looking at the descriptions from the other post, I would say its effects to Lding/vivid dreams is stimulated by the phenylethylamine it contains..
      I stomp on your ideas.

      So it's dark chocolate lol.

Though I don't really see a necessary reason for it to be so. Both affect the same hormone (serotonin), which is claimed to be related to Lucid Dreaming. Dark chocolate has the advantage of being a nice antioxidant and good for blood pressure, apart from not giving you acne (it's the milk in the chocolate that has that effect). Dark chocolate FTW!

I have experienced sleepiness after eating chocolate lol xD

To mention it, yesterday I spent about 24 hours awake. I had trouble falling asleep (insomnia) and woke up consecutively over the night. Dreams were short and hazy. In the morning, it was one piece of chocolate and I was fully healed.
