      Yes, setting achievable goals and attaining them is not only effective, but gives good feedback on your progress.

      Haha... seems like good old-fashioned fun.

      Disregarding any sort of possible lucidity helping properties, I think it could be lots of fun. For example, when you get an achievement you get to see what behind door number twoooooooo </announcer voice>

      You know, that's not a bad idea. Dream rewards. My rewards don't have to be limited to what exists ;D

      Well, something to this effect has been done before. I found it when I was first researching LDing. It was called RILD (Reward Induced Lucid Dream), basically, you let yourself eat a chocolate bar whenever you have an LD, or have brilliant recall one night, etc.
      It had a counterpart called PILD (Punishment Induced Lucid Dream), which is really quite self-explanatory.

      Then again, the website had a crapload of choices, which I doubt were well researched, from Thirst Induced Lucid Dream, to HOILD, (Hard-on Induced Lucid Dream)!
