Not odd at all. Many people remember old childhood memories in 3rd person. Usually general things like walking around a childhood house is remembered in 1st person, but remembering big events for many people is can often be 3rd.

That sounds really cool. Sometimes I wish my dreams would be less realistic. I think it would be neat to have cartoonish dreams.

In dreams, I usually have trouble remembering things from the waking world, and I can't distinguish between "real" memories and "dream" memories. It stays this way for a moment after I wake up, and there comes a slow realization as I lie in bed that what happened in my dream wasn't real. Sometimes it's a relief; sometimes a disappointment.
Whenever I become lucid my eyesight comes into focus like I just took off a pair of bad glasses that blur everything. Sometimes its a bummer because it's actually harder for me to do crazy things like flying in lucid dreams than in non-lucid because it seems so much more realistic. When I lose lucidity its like those bad glasses come back lol.

Remembering things from the real world comes easy to me. When I become lucid almost every time I get the mental image of my body in bed. I can usually bring up the main events of the day from the real world. It can be such a bummer when you have a great dream and you wake up and for a few surreal seconds you still think that great dream is reality and then it hits you.

I always see as the protagonist of the dream. Whether or not it is always me is a different question.

I see my dreams in first person, I recall them in third.

If you recall your dreams in 3rd person than how do you know you see them in 1st?

In my dreams, i generally switch between first and third person view.

For instance, there was this one dream where i was in first person and when i saw an important object in the dream i switched to third person, and the camera was fixed on that object.

Okay, great. So some people can see dreams in both 1st and 3rd person. I wonder, have you ever seen a dream in second perrson? (Your a minor charecter watching the dream events unfold)

I see mostly in first person and hovering above or outside my body in a sort of third person in non lucid dreams. However, I never see myself. In lucid dreams it's always through my own eyes in first person.

normally it's first person, but sometimes it feels as if I'm watching tv, and I don't really exist at all.

I very rarely have a 3rd person dream (though it happens).

It's usually in first person and looks very realistic. Hmm... sometimes colours are more vivid. Emotions are definitely stronger.
