      Sun Sounds and dream inducement

I have experimented a little with NASA's Sun sound recordings. They are archived over at the Stanford University website now. I originally wasn't using them for research related to dreams but I noticed a large increase in dreams the same night if I listened to a specific one for about 10 minutes before going to sleep; (as a note, this was done on a larger stereo system with a sub woofer, and I haven't tried my expensive studio headphones yet).

Among the other notable effects is after 10 minutes, most of the time I would have the "whole body vibrating" effect that a lot of people claim they experience when they enter SP (Sleep Paralysis).

Here are the links to the Stanford site:

Thanks for sharing this. Now I'm itching to give it a try; I think I'll download the file and use it during WBTB tonight.

When you listened to this, were you meditating or doing other things (like reading, etc.)?

      Your welcome,

I usually just sit quietly with eyes closed, but have done eyes open as well.

There are a lot more sun sounds that I haven't tried at the Stanford University site. Maybe we could get a group of experienced Lucid Dreamers and experiment with different sun sounds and techniques?

I recently got serious about LD after stumbling upon CrazyInSane's awesome WILD tutorial here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=87710&page=1 So I don't have a lot of experience to bring with me to experiment with.

That sounds like a great idea. You can definitely count me in.

When I was listening to some of those files earlier, I got the same feeling I get when listening to binural beats. I wonder if they're somehow connected?
