      Speech to text

      If you have the program on your phone (comes with most androids), type out something you intended for it to record and THEN type out what it actually recorded.

      For instance.. I spoke into the microphone..

      Two white cups and I got that drink, could be purple or could be pink.. depending on how you mix that shit.. money to be gotten and I'm getting that shit cause I'm on one.
      and it interpreted it as this..

      to like up tonight gotta drink could be purple it could be pink depending on how are you mix that s*** my son is not s*** cuz I'm on 1
      What I said:

      What it typed:

      XD. I used to use speech recognition to "type" up essays last year...it ended up failing. It type the weirdest things, and I accidentally handed in a paper with the word sex on it just because I said something wrong.

      real time speech recognition doesnt work, only non real time is good. Non-real time is very very accurate, real time is not. MY company can trascript conference calls, the software is alwost perfect and can even differentiate whos speaking and two ppl speaking at once.

      Oh, Dvorak.

      Makes sense, since I've never even bothered to look at a Dvorak keyboard before /clueless

      Makes me curious though, if the purported difference is any more or less significant for "hunt and peck" typing, which is what I do (it's always been easier than the standard 8-finger method for me).

      Back on topic, I just got an android phone and it has this feature, I'll try it out tomorrow.
