Because people who you aren't sure who can read and speak Japanese most likely can't. Everyone tries to learn a few words of every language. The source you got it from wasn't credible and you can't say whether the person got the word from a credible source. Don't trust sites like that. They don't always know how to romajinize Japanese sounds.

Well, the webmistress of www.ear-tweak.com is actually Japanese, and has studied it, so she is a reliable source -- however, I understand what you mean. I'll try and be more wary in the future.
