-FCUK!!! My USB drive just bit the dust. Windows was doing a lousy job of moving a file, and teh compy froze up, and I had to nuke and restart explorer--then the USB drive gave me "Inappropriate action" errors when I tried to access it, and Windows is telling me that its unable to format it, and I'm in a REALLY bad mood. ... -I think that deserves another minus. And maybe an extra "FCUK!!!".

Well... + I finally gave my 25-minute History Seminar presentation on Nazi Germany, most of it off the cuff, and I think I did pretty damned awesome. + I got an A+ for a history assignment I got back thisafternoon BUT - The next four weeks are gonna be extremely hectic, and extremely stressful. I'm going to stop watching basically ALL of the TV I watch, spend less time cooking, less time fucking around, and stuff, just to deal with the trememndous amount of work I have left to do. - My flatmates and I are in an argument. Bad feelings. Stress. They're pissing me off. I'm gonna have to suck it up and deal, though. - Over the next four or five weeks, I have: a 3000-word history essay, two 2000-word history essays, and on top of that, law exams, to study for. I am only BARELY going to have enough time to do them all. - My father has bone marrow cancer. I've known for a while, but, it's just beginning to sink in. Honors is just a higher-level class. Typically, honors classes cover the same material, but more in-depth, and it typically looks better on resumes. Some schools require a certain GPA before you're allowed to take honors classes, but most don't.

Serious short story, or funny short story? If serious, do something about a soldier (medieval or modern, either way) who has qualms about battle after experiencing some traumatic experience. Yeah, it's over-used, but for some reason, English teachers tend to eat stories like that up.
