Well, I usually don't bother with the dreaming forums because new information rarely comes up there. It's the same questions over and over. |

I find it funny (more like a 'heh' funny) that DV is a place to talk about dreams, yet more people are viewing the off-topic section than any other. |

Dreaming sections tend to get old and repetitive after a while, they need a major clean-up to interest more experienced dreamers... |

This is 500% true, infact, it's good because I havn't seen "Those People" since I decided to only post in the dreaming forums, and by that I mean feel moderately happy about posting. Let's say, necessery posting! |

Well it's not too late to nuke all off-topic forums. Nah, don't see that happening. Really though you can make some good friends or get into some useful debates (excluding the mountain of useless ones) through off-topic. |
|
It's getting sad, actually. It's basically everyone coming over here and talking about random crap, while like a few users answer the newbie's questions. For God's sake, even some Dream Guides rarely post in there! |

I enjoy posting in both parts of the forum, but I guess a lot of people don't. |

How's this: Your post count won't go up if you post in any off-topic area. |

Are you kidding, do you really think that getting rid of the off-topic sections will herd everyone to the on-topic ones, it still doesn't change that they're crap... |

well i still consider myself a newbie. sumtimes i make threads about ld questions and later realize that someone else already made a thread. i think they should make brand new members read all the tutorials and stuff about the basics, faq, etc. and lock up everything else until all the basics are read. |
