Thread: Type with computer screen off...

Ok I am typing this with the screen off but to be honest I can touch type so even with the screen off and not looking at the keyboard I think I could get 100% accuracy

I'm imagining there will be little problem for me, since I've been touch-typing for many years. Actually, I'm already on your second part: not looking at the keys.

I just hope I'm actually typing inside of the "reply" box, or else I'll turn the screen back on and find there's nothing typed at all!

Okay, so the screen's off, and this is a rather fun game. I love this typing game, and I'm not looking at the keyboard.

I' cam't touch type perfectly, but it's still fun to do. And this laptop's keyboard is weird to use.

Yeah same here I don't need to look at the keyboard or the monitor to type. Generally I can know when I made a mistake without even looking at the screen because I can feel if I hit the right button or not (like I Can tell if something feels wrong because each word/letter has a specific feel and in my head the letters appear as I type and if in my head they are weird I know I made a mistake).

My only concern with doing this is that I will mess up my msn conversations.... but yeah, it's quite easy. It's only if you want to go back and edit something later that you have a problem as you have to try and backspace exactly the right number of sspaces...

Really, it is not that hard to type when you can't see the letters coming up. I can easily do it. But I also spell out everything in my head when I type and when I text. When I text, I keep going 1,2,1,2,3,1, and so on, because of how many times I have to hit a key.

Haha, my cup hit caps lock and it made everything capitalized.

Yea, when I saw that, I laughed. I figured you had the screen on and just tried to make it seem like that happened.

I want a go! Lol, ok my screen is turned off, and knowing my shit memory I have forgot whther I typed "Off" or not, and my finger went strange when pressing the "O" key. God, I had typing randolm shot.

well let's see i've been touch typing forever and I think I'm pretty good at it. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see after I turn the screen on I guess.

I can't really type with my monitor off as i have a laptop, but i'll type with my eyes closed. So how is everyone? i'm good. this isn't very hard to do at all :p

I am a pretty good typer so I thinks minimal errors.
