      The Story... Backwards

This is a game. Here's how it goes, folks:

I will begin with the LAST sentence of a story.

Your job is to then write the PREVIOUS sentence in the story, eventually leading up to the FIRST sentence of the story. This could go on for days, or it could end in five sentences, up to you.

Example line: His teeth fell out.
Your line would then go BEFORE it - whatever line you think of.
Basically, we're writing a story backwards, here.

(Try to have it make sense, And when the story has begun, announce it, and end another one.)

Ok, here's the last line of the first story:

<not in story> Guys, slower! you're skipping along way too much with each sentence. Also, don't try to define whats happening before the sentence you write. a) it gives the next person fewer options b) sounds awkward after the previous sentence is added </not in story>

A large bang from up ahead diverted Charlie's attention away from the bodies.
      Charlie walked past the corpses.
Charlie saw thick smoke coming out of the control rooms door
Charlie burst into the room, flames licking at the control rooms windows.
Harold placed his finger lightly upon the button and grinned evilly.
      Charlie screamed, "Dont push it!"
He wiped the sweat from his brow and looked at Charlie for the very last time.
      Harold pushed the button.

Struggling in vain, she called out to Charlie, "It's Harold. He made these horrible things!"
His eyes locked onto Miranda's as she and her son were dragged down the hall, screaming in terror and clawing at the smooth metal floors.
He tried to block out the screams of pain that seemed to fill the air around him.
It was too late to do anything about that now.
He unloaded the last remaining rounds from his pistol into the zombies following him but they simply continued on towards him.
Charlie finally evaded the zombies running rampant outside by sliding down a huge hill and spotting a trap door to his left.
"Thank God for small miracles," he muttered to himself, shaking the mud from his hair.
He threw himself into the trapdoor, slamming it shut just in time.
He crawled up and out of the trapdoor into a vast storage area littered with crates that stretched farther then should have been able to fit in the lab.
Charlie stayed hidden out of view behind one of the crates that littered the large warehouse floor; he peeked out from where he was hiding.
The professor was nowhere to be seen.
Charlie had to get to the control room, however, a sight of disgust froze him.
Lining the corridor were dozens of clear, glass tubes; each one containing what used to be human suspended in a clear gel, wires and metal apparatii melded to their torsos.

He tried to get a steady aim on the zombie's head, but with Miranda struggling to escape, the zombie's deteriorated neck muscles allowed his head to flop freely, far to fast to hit it without killing her.
As he lowered his gun slightly, he shouted to her, asking what she was trying to say, he hadn't been able to hear her over Joshua's screams of pain.

As he came charging around the corner, gun's blazing, and bullets hitting the floor, he saw a zombie that seemed much stronger than the others.

"Hoooooolly shiiiiiiit!" he cried through clenched teeth as the zombies kept coming at him. They seemed to be falling down from his bullets closer and closer to him. With luck he managed to make it to the corridor where he knew Miranda was.
