      That's actually a diagram of meiosis. Mitosis only has one of each phase, and results in 2 cells, not 4.

      On closer inspection, it isn't really meiosis either, since the initial cell should have already divided once by the time it reached prophase II. I guess that's why the filename is "bad_mitosis_diagram.gif." Anyway, it's certainly closer to being meiosis than mitosis.

      Well, it certainly tastes like mitosis.

      I don't know what the heck this meiosis crap is...

      But the question is whether to appoint MITOSIS as the mascot for SB.

      We would refer to it with this diagram, regardless if it smells like meiosis or mitosis.
