Thread: Quitting World of Warcraft

I used to play Tibia. Its pretty good after you look past the crappy 2d graphics. There's only four vocations but that shouldn't be a problem. I gotta say though, fighting your first dragon feels great!

I'd suggest a really old game. It's called friends. I hear it's hard to find sometimes though.

Cabal Online is great and it's free. very quest-based, though. But it can compete with any paid game of the genre.

I've played Tibia before, and I used to like it pretty well, but recently they're done some major changes that made the game too complex and ruined it.

My other suggestion would be WoW, so lol forget it.

Sometimes, it's nicer to just start it all from the beginning - after a while, the game is not about discovery, but about spending hours doing the same thing repeatedly. And restarting from zero on the same game is annoying, because you already know everything. That's when another game comes into play.

Ah, for some reason I thought he was quitting, not out of boredom, but because it's sucking his life away and he needs to stop.

How silly of me to think Fableflame would wake up and think rationally.

Half-Life series, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike: Source, Dead Space...

That's all I can think of...

Well, im bored with it, it cost too much money...and i suck at it. It's sucking my money away but i dont have much of a life. never have.

I just cancelled my WoW account too. Mostly because Blizzard doesn't seem to know what they're doing anymore. Hopefully they'll get their act together soon. If not, there are always other games. I'm a really causal MMO player, I only do it around college/work, but I'll probably keep my eye out for another one before long, they're really fun if you can find one that doesn't require a hardcore player.

I suggest getting a job that you enjoy and hanging out with your friends. That's the best anti-dote to anti-social gaming.
