Although I use correct grammar (most of the time) myself, I am also a firm believer in understanding through context. Language evolves through disagreement and mistake.

I thinks its it is because if I were to say I think its glass it would also make sense as I think it is glass. It's is meaning belonging to such as Rachel's car. If it were to mean belonging to it would be said That is Rachel's car. Just search it in wikipedia or the dictionary.
