Possible or impossible? Likely to come about in the future, or unlikely to ever emerge?

Well ya, but that was sort of just a "zombie fan club."

This is a bit more like an "Extended Discussion" topic, if you catch my drift.

There have been "Is this possible lul lul lul" threads regarding zombies before.

EDIT: interestingly enough, science has already discovered parasites that take over rats, ants, and snails (hijack their brain and take control of their bodies). The ant one can actually voluntarily switch its control on and off. Usually, the ant acts normal and is in full control, but when a cow approaches the parasite flicks on a switch in the ants brain, takes control, and makes the ant climb to the tip of a flower where it I eaten by the cow.

It's a rather big step from ants, snails, and rats to humans, but it could happen.

I don't believe it is possible.
