Anyone Want To Play The Band Game With Me?

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I just thought that maybe some of you would like to play a game that my sister and I used to play together before she moved. I call it the Band Game. Everyone is free to play! OBJECTIVE: The objective is to create a story using band names. The story needs to make sense, meaning don't just throw something completely random in the mix, keep it flowing. RULES: Each segment added must have a band name somewhere within it. The band name should be capitalized so it can be identified withing the sentence. You can't just put mindless writing within in the story. Example: Coheed and Cambria are going to Linkin Park at midnight to see Three Days Grace perform. This sentence contains three band names: Coheed and Cambria, Linkin Park, and Three Days Grace. You CANNOT just jump in and say something like this: Coheed and Cambria are going to Linkin Park at midnight to see Three Days Grace perform. The weather man says it will be raining cats and dogs tonight. That has nothing to do with the story. Unless a band name can be incorporated, don't use it. NOTE: It's okay if you want to take the story in a different direction, as long as it's logical. Also, groups other than "rock" can be used. I'm using rock bands because that's my musical taste, but "rap" and whatever else can be used, as well as single artists. (side note - when my sister and I played this was a verbal game and required fast thinking, because pausing caused you to lose the game, but because this is written, it's slightly different). HAVE FUN!

They received another scare, and almost choked on their Saliva, when they saw a White Zombie slowly approaching them.

They ducked behind a tombstone hoping the White Zombie didn't see them. Once the coast was clear they ran across the street to the Tokio Hotel . "The band's location is just Three Doors Down, if we run fast we can escape those Scary Kids Scaring Kids," Coheed whispered. (thanks for playing with me! )

Someone had chained her to a tree for not giving them their Nickleback, after borrowing it. (Haha. Welcome.)

"What happened to you?" Cambria asked. Alice, in Chains responded. "You see I asked Rob Zombie if I could have some money for the Metro Station and he said 'as long as you pay me back'. I forgot and today he saw me and tied me to this tree because I didn't have any money. Please help." She pleaded.

It didn't take them long to find that her captor had dropped The Black Keys to the lock in the grass, not far from her. They picked up the keys, setting her free before throwing the chains and keys back in the Dirt.

It didn't take them long to find that her captor had dropped The Black Keys to the lock in the grass, not far from her. They picked up the keys, setting her free before throwing the chains can keys back in the Dirt. Just then, along happened a Blind Guardian, looking for his charge. It seems he was from Kamelot and had lost the one he was to protect in the time portal here. It was his Nightwish to ensure that the girl Alice, in Chains, in her lustrous Evanescence, made it home safe and sound.

"Alice, come back home with me." He said, his face solemn. "No!" She yelped, jerking away from his out-stretched hand. "Come!" He tried to grab her. "What, are you Daft Punk?" Coheed asked, pulling Alice towards him. "You mean 'deaf'?" Cambria corrected. "No, I said it right the first time, 'daft'." They looked at each other, Totally Confused.

Suddenly, a led zeppelin landed next to them, and out came Kool and the gang, looking to cause some trouble.

Suddenly in a Rush, Coheed and Cambria remembered the concert. Leaving Alice to the Blind Guardian, they headed out, like a couple of Los Lonely Boys. On the way, they decided to take a shortcut through a soup kitchen, where they nearly crashed into the cook carrying The Platters. Over by the hearth was Snoop Dogg, who barked at them, "Get outta the way, fo' shizzle mah nizzle!" Not knowing what this meant, they hurried on through The Doors.

Finally they reached their destination. "Yay, we made it!" Coheed said happily. They spotted Gavin Degraw and Jason Mraz and ran over to them. Jason greeted them and said, "You'll never guess. I had a Nightmare of You two lastnight! I was trying to do Astral Projection and you guys appeared and were trying to kill me! It was horrible! Fortunately I had a Dilinger Escape Plan and was able to get away."

"Oh, that's very interesting," replied Cambria, looking at him as if he had two heads. Just then Lacuna Coil approached them. "Hey, you guys made it! Awesome!" "Wow, you smell really, really good," Cambria said, leaning towards her. "Oh, you like? It's My Chemical Romance, I bought it yesterday."

Three Days Grace played their hearts out and Coheed and Cambria agreed that it was time to return home. They ran to the metro and took the Last Train Home. "Wow, I had a wonderful time!" Cambria said. "Me too," agreed Coheed. "Man, I'm hungry, lets go to Reel Big Fish and grab a bite." "Are you kidding?? It's 3 a.m., nothing's open at this time." "Oh yeah, that's right." He frowned. "Oh well, goodnight then." "Goodnight."
