I'm half Italian...My mother is straight off the boat Italian...I don't see enough Italians...Italians are Unique because they are considered white, but are just as dark as middle eastern people/Hispanics. Middle eastern people are still considered white, so are Hispanics(well, Hispanic is a strange one, it can mean race or ethnicity, or even something entirely different than either of the two). Perhaps you mean they are accepted into the WASP culture that has dominated america since its creation. In which case you are correct, but many people have accepted Hispanics into this culture.

Dark, bold features, hairy...It's pretty simple lol... Actually, you see a pretty wide variety of coloration and features from Italians. I don't doubt that for almost any given ethnicity, there is at least one Italian somewhere who could pass. A lot of people who are half-Italian come out like me: fair, tons of freckles and red-blond hair. As for more or fewer, I work in an Italian neighborhood deal with local big-wigs every day, so I'll take fewer.

Yea, the steriotypical Italian with darker skin and black hair is really only present in the southern parts of the country. In the northern areas the way I look is much more common - light skin, red hair, etc.

What I'm saying here is I'd rather have more Italians than less Italians, because that'd be terrible. Even if it did solve the whole over-population thing, I'd rather not get rid of any Italians. I'm sure everyone has a little bit of Italian in them, you've heard that theory we all came from Italy, right? Well, I know it's just a theory, and there's not a lot of evidence behind it, but it wouldn't be terrible if it were true. I have Italian friends.

And yeah, northern Italy has a lot of influence (genetically) from Switzerland France and Austria, so it is common for Italians to be fair skinned/blonde/redhead. But the stereotypical Italian is dark and hairy. I'd say more, but if that means more grasshoppas... Maybe not. I feel like you sucker punched my feelings and then kicked my soul in the nuts.

Sometimes if you're talking to someone who doesn't have kids, they'll fill you in on the neighborhood, "They should be home over there, they have high schoolers, skip that one there..." So I'm talking to an old man who is giving me the info he thinks I should have. "Now that fella over there, he's a wop. And down the street, he's half a wop. His daddy was a wop, but found himself a white woman to marry." Funny, I'm thinking, that sounds a lot like how I got here...
