      V for Vendetta

I saw this movie Sunday evening. It was terrific. The imagery and the storyline played together VERY well. The Wachowski script had to have been killer for McTigue (SP?) to have pulled this off. Hugo Weaving was an excellent V, and for wearing a mask he played an idea fairly well ;)

I was surprised that a board like this would have no topic on this film! Regardless, kudos to the production crew for doing justice to Moore's work!

It looks cool, and deep too. There are no hero's, just ppl. N shit. And the story suits the corrent world quite good

hmmm....had a dream about this movie last night and I didnt recall it (the dream) until I saw this thread. Crazy-ass dream from what I remember. Im almost sure that in the real movie Natalie Portman's character never left a house party to go on a beer run and came back w/ no hair.

yeah, it looks good. one of the few movies i actually plan to see.

the fact natalie portman looks even more superhot with a shaved head has something to do with probably....

well you need something to see that, like quicktime stuff. I just see some letters, and like a screwed up background of 4 of the same pictures of V with a pizza head.

Saw it last night. There was a scene I didn't care for, but that doesn't matter. My overall assessment:

      Absolutely Brilliant.

definitely an awesome movie. yes, AirRick101, Natalie Portman's hot with a bald head. she would be hot no matter what she did to her hair.
<-- me and her in a good lucid dream.
and yes, Agent Smith was in it, but i didn't know until the credits, because you never see his face. he wears a mask the entire movie. Ame, what scene didn't you like?

      completly.
This movie is awesome. I love that part with the v alliteration.
What is the name of that song with the explosion?

      EDIT: ah here it is
"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

The alliteration, I though, was very, very well done

I don't know the name of the piece, but the composer is Chaikovski (or Tchaikovsky, depending on if you're going with the improper English spelling )
