Well when you think about it, the same things happen sometimes in RL. I imagine your subconscious picked up on a way you'd possibly react, so in the dream when you saw them, those emotions were the highest in your 'repertoire' of reactions. |

I have always gotten very strong feelings from dreaming about people who I knew in the past. One particular person I dream about every so often is my ex girlfriend. She's the only girl I've felt truly passionate about and when she appears in my dreams I always feel both happy and sad when I wake up. I'm never lucid while she's there. |

"Often I will spin a tale, never will I charge a fee. I'll amuse you an entire eve, but, alas, you won't remember me. What am I?" - Sloth Demon, Dragon Age: Origins mage origin
[Dream Log @ Tumblr]
Eh...I view dream interpretation as unreliable, at best. Dreams can cobble together just about any random series of thoughts and make a viable story from them. Furthermore, different sorts of "symbols" mean different things to everybody; we are all unique. Unless your friend being gay becomes a recurring element, I wouldn't worry about it too much. And yes, I know exactly what you're talking about with the happy/sad thing...I've fallen in love with DC's before, only to find out it was all a dream later on. I really love this feeling, though...Quietly protesting the 10 character limit. |
