Hi all, still quite new here so unsure if this is in the right section!

Basically, I've become really interested in sleep paralysis. It's a fairly morbid curiosity since from the sounds of it it's unpleasant to say the least, but I like reading about it and find it fascinating.

However, I have only experienced it once, as a child (I didn't know what it was then obviously and even then it was fairly mild) and I really don't want to experience it! My question is - do you think excessive reading about sleep paralysis can cause sleep paralysis or make it more likely. This is working on the logic that your brain processes things you are preoccupied with when you're asleep, and so might be predisposed to it.

Thanks for any help
