      Everyman Sleeping Schedule

Hello all, i have decided to take up the Everyman sleeping schedule. I want to do this to gain more time for my studies and just time to relax and meditate, which i am starting to love because it completely relaxes my mind. I will be actually starting today and hope to keep like a log, i don't really feel like creating a blog and all that. OK so here is my schedule and a coupe of my questions:

      Schedule:

      12:00(midnight) - 3:00am
      5:00am - 5:20am - first power nap
      4:00pm - 4:20pm - 2nd power nap
      10:00pm - 10:20pm - 3rd power nap
      Repeat again

Now there is one problem with this! From 5:20am i have to stay up for 11hours + track practice! So i don't know if i will be able to handle 11 hours of not sleeping. So i made another schedule where i take a power nap in school during a 1hr lunch break. Any recommendations which one sounds better. I mean both have its ups and downs. The first schedule has the problem of 11 hours, and the second one has a problem of being up for around 7 hours while doing HW and stuff. SO i don't really know which one will do. Any help?

      Questions:

      1) If anyone is in school and doing this, is it hard to concentrate and complete tasks? I know at first it will be but how about after a week?

      2) My most IMPORTANT question is: From what i have read, the max hours for the CORE NAP is 3 hours, am i wrong? I have been reading other posts on here and see some people doing 4 to 5 hours.

      Thanks

Probably best not to do this with school, especially if you have track practice. This kind of schedule isn't too great for athletic activities, your body can't recover from soreness very effectively.

Apart from that I am no expert so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Yeah, the only thing i am worried about is the athletics, but academic wise i think it will be better for me. Well we will see! If it does not work i might squeeze 4 power naps in instead of 3.

Well, i just had my core sleep and my first power nap. Instead of doing 3 hours i bumped it up to 4 just for the beginning until i get used to it. I don't feel really tired but my eyes fell like they are full of sand. Other than that i am fine. For the power nap i was ,surprisingly, able to fall asleep and start dreaming very fast, but it felt like i only slept for 5 minutes. MY dream was really weird tho, it was about Hitler and WWII and how being Nazi is a way of life. That is all i can remember but its pretty disturbing.

      Update -------

Well i just had my second power nap and let me say, this was HORRIBLE! I just could not fall asleep that easily as the first nap, maybe because i was tired for the first nap. So the only thing that i did is pretty much just kept my eyes closed for 20 minutes. Oh well off to do something interesting.

School starts tomorrow, that should be very interesting, lol

      Update -------

Still for my third power nap to come! At first i was feeling O.K to say. I was not tired and I had high alertness and concentration. Then HUNGER came in, I was hungry but i could not decide what to eat, its like a lost my appetite. So, i decided to just go and eat something at least to get some proteins in me. After i ate i feel GREAT it is amazing what food can do to a tired person, I feel like i could go outside and run full out just like in a meet. Well i hope this feeling keeps up. Tomorrow will be a hard day because i have school and practice right after school. I am thinking of sneaking in a nap during lunch at school. Oh well we will see.

      Update -------

Well this was my last power nap and i have to say this one was as good as the first nap that i had. Nothing much to say, its only a nap. That's it for today. I will update tomorrow on how it went when i was in school, after i get back from practice. Thanks for reading, if you are

      Conclusion

I thought i was going to fell really horrible but it turned out to be pretty good actually.

      Update -------

Well i still have a couple of hours left to go until i go to bed and i just wanted to share some stuff i found out today. So i am sitting here bored out of my mind and all of a sudden i decide to get some tea. I got down and make me some RED TEA, and i was really surprised how it refreshes me and raises some spirit in this day. I actually never thought of tea in that way but it is great to keep you up, from what i know from today. I will update too see how well it works out after this week. Thanks for reading!

Well today was actually pretty good i wok up kind of tired, i went to school and surprisingly I had the maximum alertness and concentration. After school i felt kind of tired again, but I went to practice anyway and during practice my energy just came back to me, so i felt good. Right now i am not tired at all. Ready for the next day. Thanks

I plan on doing this over the summer then getting into a regular polyphasic or biphasic sleep schedule for the school year.

I figured that sleeping during a class or lunch wouldn't be too great for my school.

I'm not involved in any kind of sport, but I am in school.

However, I think I'll give it a go!

My schedule seems to work perfectly for me so I'm not too sure what you guys are getting at... I would say though, when I was bulking on muscle I slept 9 hours straight before waking up, right now I'm just trying to maintain my body while staying as lean as possible.

Some day I'll be researching around the topic of "free energy" or perhaps "over-unity", at least in my dreams
