I'm scared WBTB is going to make me NOT sleep

      I might get insomnia, it's like - Everytime I try a WBTB, I don't sleep. It's a natural thing. I don't know why I don't sleep, but I stop feeling relaxed. And I don't go to sleep at all.

      How do I cure this?

Edit - I just don't sleep quickly, it's takes too long for me to sleep - Because God loves me, thanks God - I appreciate it.

      Tweak WBTB

I have the same problem. Full WBTB (i.e. getting out of a bed) doesn't allow me to fall asleep most of the time. I solved this problem tweaking WBTB a bit: Don't get out of the bed, just become fully aware of yourself. Then try to keep the feeling of awareness (as if you were realizing this is a dream) while relaxing and falling asleep (but don't force yourself into it).
This modification is more effective for me than traditional WBTB. I hope it helps.

Or just use a different technique.

You dont really need to even stand up from your bed, just take ur hands and grab your legs, this will bring out 65% of your physical muscles, which is enough to get a LD.

Grab both your legs and go back to sleep. You will fall asleep pretty fast since, you never left your current position. 35% of your upper muscles, will fall asleep right away.

      hope this helps

No I mean before I go to sleep in the first place. No matter how I try to forget the alarm clock, it takes absolutely ******* ages for me to sleep.

I see, i misread your post .... I usually listen to my mp3, until my body is totally asleep.
Than i usually pick up my task on what i should go for.

The mp3, just puts my body and mind into trance or i will call it relaxation state.
Also while i listen to the mp3, i usually go on and review my thoughts, that induces my sleep state upto twice.

      hope that helps.
