      Melatonin Seller

I just Googled up some Melatonin selling sites since I heard about how super fantastic the stuff is, and I'm suffering from some badass insomnia, but I have no idea what site I should trust. Some sites are pretty cheap (not that I have much to compare them too) but I've seen here and there that there can be "bad brands" of it. So, I was wondering where might be a decent place to pick some up for a reasonable price.

      Ta buddies.

I don't know of a website, but I bought mine from the Pharmacy section of Walmart (3-4$ for 120 tablets). I use Rexall's Melatonin (300 MCG) and it works great.

The only thing is, I think it's important to understand why you're having insomnia in the first place (talk to your doctor or google insomnia). Melatonin is great for helping me sleep, but I still wake up at 2-4 a.m. either because of depression or bad schedule, I am still trying to figure out.

So yeah, don't take it expecting it to work miracles - it's a hormone supplement, not a sleeping pill or cure for anything.

300mcg Isn't that a low dosage of melatonin?

      I take 1 3mg tablet.... and 3mg=3000mcg.

and I know 3mg's is fine to take... I never taken more than that in a 24 hour period though.

Oh and to the OP you can go down to any drugstore/grocery store and purchase a bottle of Melatonin for a few bucks. I get a bottle of 60 tablets (3mg tablets) from GNC for $3.99

I buy all my melatonin and b6 at the dollar store lol. They have these 3mg melatonin pills in a 60 pack bottle for 2 dollars. Also a 60 pack of b6 100mg for the same price. I don't know how much those websites charge but the dollar store sounds a lot cheaper and easier.

It's a "sleeping aid" not a "sleeping pill." It's meant to assist what your body's doing already, but it's not going to just put you out. If you use it too often, your body will build up a tolerance for it and it won't work as well, and/or you'll have a hard time sleeping without it. Like with any drug, just be careful how you use it.

I only use it if I know I'm going to have a hard time sleeping, such as if I've had coffee late in the day or if I'm staying somewhere I know people will be talking when I try to sleep. It helps me to at least stay asleep for a while, and the B6 in it helps me to wake up refreshed. It's just not a cure-all.

Insomnia can be caused by a lot of things. First is just a lack of Melatonin. Second, is a complete malfunction in the pineal gland. Third, are the neutoransmitter acceptors for melatonin. That is just scraping the surface! There is also the emotional side of sleeping (are you troubled from being abused while trying to sleep, seriously? )
