Does having your period affect your dreams?

      Embarrasing question, but can it?

Hmmm....well do hormones effect your dreams? Hormone secretion changes drastically during that time so I would say.....I dont really know :-)

      <--- Doesn't have any periods

All hormone levels are low during your period right? I would imagine this would affect your mood, thoughts, and dreaming greatly.

Apparently there have been some studies done:

I haven't noticed anything like that. But I did hear that your dreams from around your first period can be used to predict your future. It's a pity I can't remember mine, 'cos I'd like to give that a go.

Yes, for the first couple of night before my period, and the next few night after my period has started, my dreams will be more emotional. Especially aggression...

      Yes!

No, actually it's the joys of modern contraception.

I don't take those pills. The pill makes me cry constantly (I tried it for three months) which is why I refuse to take them. I have an IUD with locally released hormones which should only be affecting my uterus.
