Caffeine

I've decided to quit all caffeinated beverages for 3 days and then only stick to 1 cup of tea per day, hopefully this will help my sleep in general Does anyone know if drinking water helps improve dream recall or decreases time needed to get to sleep?

Good for you. Caffeine is really bad. I find if I drink one cup of tea these days it fucks me up. I only do so in unusual circumstances.

Drinking water will lead to you possibly having to get up early. For obious reasons. This can be good for recall or bad for getting into lengthy and epic dreams. It depends on you really.

I'm having a the same problem. I am so addicted to caffeine. I have 2 32 oz vitamin water: Energys a day. I know that doesn't seem like a lot to people who slam monsters and red bulls, but still it's alot of caffeine. I find that water makes everything better for me. I feel better during the day, therefore my memory is better. I remember to do more RCs, I can recall more, and I pee a lot lol.

I think you're on the right track. I decided today that I was going to quit caffeine and only do a cup of chinease oolong tea a day.

vitamin water are a series of different flavored drinks. The one I drink is an energy blend with b5, b6, b12, guarana, and natural caffeine. They taste really good. I get the 32 oz bottles which cost 2.33 for one.....thats pretty damn expensive.

I have an Iced Coffee nearly every day, I have no problems with sleeping. My father however, drinks at least six cups of coffee a day, and he freaking complains about why he can't get any sleep. WTF?
Question: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Answer: Neither, single-celled organisms did.

Yeah, I need to give caffeine a rest. I have at least 2 cups of coffee a day and roughly 3 to 4 cans of coke a day. But I really cant imagine going throughout my day without it; its so tempting b/c its right there in my kitchen; damn that caffeine.

Ok, caffeiene works like this:

Every person has an intoxication level that varies because of body weight, mine is about six cups.

The person (me, anyway) starts getting a bit jittery. My record is 13 cups, I counted. God knows what I was thinking
I almost WILDed though.

The whole 13 cups thing is NOT recommended! I couldn't sleep that night, and I just jumped around doing schoolwork. Man, that was sorta fun, although I felt like crap the next day.

So yeah, consider the above an experiment to add to this scientific study

I can hear the conversation now...

Mom: You haven't slept for a while now, I think you might have insomnia, and you are definitely hiperactive, I need to take you to the doctor.

Me: No mom, its all in the name of science mom! I like oreos. do you. like oreos?! Where's the doggy?such a Cute doggy!

Mom: Love, are you okay...?

Thats it from me,

I drink no caffeine during the week except for Friday. It takes about a full week to become caffeine tolerant 100%. If you drink caffeine heavily only one day a week, you still get the awakening affect, and the withdrawl headaches only last through about monday.

It allows me to get my work done on friday nights.

I used to drink three cups of black Coffe on a Saturday and now I have stopped that and my well being has improved. I sleep better all the time and on saturday night I sleep better and I am not so heavy on Sunday.

I do regulas excercise and drink plenty of water, now I need to stop drinking tea just before bed.
