      I am having a VERY hard time falling asleep when I wake up at night.

      I cannot fall asleep in naps either.



      When I wake up in the middle of the night and stay up more then 3 minutes, it takes me at least 30 minutes to fall back asleep. I can't stand this because I want to try and WILD but I can't go to sleep right away when I fail. It takes me forever to hit SP too and I am completely still. I don't get out of bed either.

      Naps: Sometimes I am just exhausted. I cannot take naps no matter how long I wait. I have a low caffeine intake but caffeine has an opposite effect on me, I get tired instead of hyper. I lay completely still, make my room dark, but still no luck.

      Is there anything I can do? Do I just have a sleeping problem?

      I'm the same so you can be sure you're not alone. In fact I'm up now at an untimely hour...what helps me is to keep at the right temperature for falling asleep. And breathe slowly, relax...

      Seems to me that your too excited about lucid dreaming, I have the same problem.
      By the time I fall asleep my mind has wandered away from the subject i want to VILD about, Vild is different then WILDING though and ive never attempted a WILD. Google it

      I'm the same, and I can't understand how anyone could MILD/VILD because my mind wanders within 30 seconds of trying to keep the subject in my head. I've started using Brainwave Generator to induce sleep after I get up in the middle of the night - that's about all I can suggest.
