      monitor goes a shade of blue

      ok whenever i plug my mic into the right outlet in the back of my pc it goes a shade of blue. Sometimes it goes away, but most of the time it stays. this is really annoying.

      any explanation?

      What kind of monitor is it? If it's an old school CRT, and if whatever you're plugging in isn't properly magnetically shielded, that kind of weird behaviour can happen.

      yeah like a blue tint. i founf wiggleing the input thing around in the jack took it away. and yes it is an old monitor.
