      What the heck am I doing wrong?

      I was emailed some great information that I wanted to read at a later date.
      I created a folder and labled it accordingly.
      Now when I go to open it it comes out something like this----->
      xej@b)%ά0>Խдdi,d3@!" ڝi5קq
      ʝ]s3z秱nx09ry|

      What did I do wrong?
      How can I retrieve this information?

      I tried to open it with several differant applications      .

      What e-mail app are you using? outlook? Or is it a web based something?

      Hi arby.

      I created a folder directly from a yahoo mail account. Then deleted the email thinking I had it backed up in a folder.

      Only the Items I mark to track are kept in any type of sent folder that I am aware of.
      To my surprise I did create a folder in the yahoo directory, which allowed me to access the information.

      Unless you changed a setting all outgoing messages are saved in the send folder along with their attachments, at least mine are.

      Looks like your using the wrong file extension. I.e trying to open an excel file using Word

      Hmm, try copying the text and paste it in wordpad/notepad and save it there instead of your email account.

      Or save it as a different file type/coding, i.e: ANSI, Unicode, etc.
