your hardware needs to support directx in order for you to use it |

I bought the game again to bring it to my new laptop. Its running vista, but everytime I try to run UT, it wont let me run it with Direct3D, I can only run it with the rendering software that UT provides, which looks like crap. I have tryed downloading updates of DirectX but keep getting the same problem. Which is that every time when I try to run it with Direct3D, the screen turns blue with a 3 paragraphs of information saying that it has enountered an error and will shutdown to prevent damage. WTF, this didn't happen with my old computer. If anyone can help me with this problem I would really appriciate it. Thanks. |

better question, what Unreal Tournament do you have? 2003? 2004? or the really old one? |

its anthology, 4 games in one, but all the other ones work great with Direct3D. Its just UT (original, no 2000 stuff) the one that has the problem and thats the one that I like best. |
