Without actually modding the system so that you could maybe improve performance by overclocking it i doubt you will be able to make it run any better. Modding isn't very good either because after time it just breaks the console. |

... and I'm not aware of any hard or soft mods that actually improve performance. Maybe add a feature or two (such as the ability play other-region-coded or copied games) but, as far as running any faster of more efficiently, probably not. At least not to any noticeable degree. |
