To anyone that has a network setup with a router. How do you make an internet connection useable (to another connection) without the administrator connected to the internet? Specifically, I have a 360 and I want to use it online without my computer hooked up online like I have now. |

forgive me, but from what you've described, it sounds like you don't have a router (or you're using a router purely as a switch) |

ya thats exactly what i have above, and it works. i do have a password for the internet connection (thats saved anyway so i dont need to type it in) but not for the network. im just wondering how i can connect to xbox live with my 360 when my modem and router are on while my comp. is off. my router is a linksys BEFW11S4, works great, its wireless too but i just use cables. |
