      Anyone else have suggestions? Any one else know a good place (online or in the real world) I can get one?

      OK, now I need a good place to go online to find software for MacOS 7.0, anyone know of a good place?

      yeah, good luck with that
      this is akin to loading win3.1 and asking where you can get software

      I'm sure you'll be able to hunt down some free software, but commercial stuff will be a dead-end

      quick google brought up this

      you're probably better off wiping system7 off and bunging linux on there if you want to do anything useful

      yeah, system7 (same as most other OS's at the time) used co-operative multitasking which relied on apps co-operating with the OS, and volunteering to give up time to other processes

      Thank's Ynot, that website will be very useful in the future.

      I don't own a powerbook 170 yet, and I don't intend to install linux on it If I get one... then again if I get 2 of them, I'll put linux on one of them.

      It would also help if anyone here knows we're I can get old (working) laptops of any kind. Any suggestions ?
