      Need Help New Forum

      A friend of mine is setting up a forum on her website, as her products have become instantly popular practically overnight, and she can no longer handle the amount of emails and blog comments she is receiving.

      I'm going to help her out but I know absolutely nothing about setting up a forum. As you can guess, I know alot about modding one...but I'm pretty useless until it actually is already up and running.

      Anyone want to help out?

      As far as I know, the two most popular forum solutions are phpBB and vBulletin. The former is free, and the latter costs $160 or £91. I highly recommend phpBB, but DV uses vBulletin, so you might prefer to suggest what you're familiar with.

      We used to use phpBB I believe, so I'm familiar with that as well. Definitely the free one.

      I checked out the phpBB website, but I still have no clue what its talking about hehe.

      I've never actually installed a forum, but know someone who has for their website a few times, and I could ask him and then get it installed for your friend, and then from there if either of you don't know how to set up all the categories and forum permissions and stuff afterwards, I could do that too.
