Your AC isn't enough? What kind of electronics do you have? None of them can be turned off?

You can always put a shade up or plant a tree outside that window.

The only things there that produce a real lot of heat is your 360 and your laptop. I have more than that. I have a 360 and an TV, each run too hot to touch Buy a surge protector and shut each off while you're not using them. It saves power and heat.

You could also move things around, find the thinnest wall or a draft or something and put the hot stuff there.

get rid of the DVD player, your 360 is that and VCRs are obsolete, there's no movie you desperately need to watch on video that you can't go to the living room and watch it there. Seriously, if your room gets too hot that the AC and a fan isn't enough to cool the place down it's time to rethink your room/setup/priorities.

Actually the 360 does horrible progressive scanning and dvds looks like shit, you might want to keep that DVD player, just unplug it.

Eh, I mean unless he's got a 720p or higher he's not gonna notice on an SDTV.

It probably controls part of the rest of the house, so it would be fine for his room, but unbearably cold for the rest of the house that it controls.

Open the window, as it's been said. Lets fresh air in, cools down, makes it way better!

Get a dehumidifier. If you're in an area where it's humid like me, then it cools the temperature a lot!

Open your room door more often if you close it. The AC will help a lot more if you do that. It lets the colder air form outside the room in.

Opening his window will be a problem in the summer. It'll just let in all the hot air.

Just put a dark or thick drape or even a bed sheet over the window. Yes the suns light does make heat and your closed window is keeping it bottled in your room. Ever heard of the green house effect?

Also its a plus or a must have if you have a big screen TV and don't want a window glare shining back at you.

Replace your window with a one-way mirror so that a large chunk of the sunlight is reflected away.

Ok, so that would cost you thousands of dollars.

I would think a mini-fridge produces quite a bit more heat than a gaming console (though admittedly, I've never owned an xbox360 or ps3). My PS2 doesn't produce much heat. My Projector sure does, though.

Hey maybe you can leave your mini fridge door open "Marge, can the oven be set to cold?"

The greenhouse effect was one question that pondered me, but I'll probably get a curtain or something, and it will probably be a thick one.
