Is it hard to type on the PS3?

I was messing with my friends PSP yesterday, and I didn't even try to do stuff here cause its a bitch to type on it.

It is wicked hard to type on the PS3. However, I plugged a keyboard into it after I initially deleted the entire post by accident, then typed away.

My PSN ID is Ironghast, but I have absolutely no idea what I can do on the PS3's Network besides download 1GB demos.

You use it to link up with other people when playing online games. That person will appear on your friend list and you can message/invite them to play. It's also your account should you want to buy something from the PS store (which I would advise against until something decent comes out.)

[PS] I find typing on the PS3 actually easy enough. Do you use the phone-based layout? Because you can change that to the superior keyboard option.

You're right, that store is total shite. I'm actually going to try and make it so I can play PS1 games on my PSP through the PS3, you know, just to keep busy. That is, if I can ever get around to updating my PSP firmware.

I do use the phone based layout, but I've always found typing on stuff that's not a tangible keyboard to be a bit of a pain, that's why I'd rather just plug a keyboard in and do it that way. Those USB ports are going to waste anyway.

Wait... there's no good games for the PS3 yet...

Unfortunately, I'm not on PSN at the moment because the internet is broken here, so I can't add anyone.

By the way Omicron, I've got a 60gb PS3, not the newer 40gb. I got a special deal going around at the time that got me around £100 of free accessories. I wouldn't know where to get a cheap one. Amazon?
