Youtube CopyRight Problem

I've been trying to remake this amv that was mine originally and I encountered so many problems while making it. All of them dealt specifically with my computer and i found a way past them. Now Youtube is saying that the song i am using is copyrighted and the video will not show up. Yes, I did use audio from a famous band but im not going to settle using the other crap they give to put in instead of my original audio. Does anyone know a way around this? Ive tried silent static at the beginning. About 0.91 seconds worth. And if that does work was it not enough?

Mix it with other audio.

You might want to try slowing down the video and audio by something like 1%, that way it wouldn't sync up with the original version of the song. I've never done this, so it might not work.. It certainly sounds like something that would get past the fingerprinting software that youtube is currently using though.
