      Inserting movie into PPT

So I want to insert a video clip into a PPT presentation, and I guess it has to be a certain extension (.avi maybe?). The video I want is in .mp4 and .flv (same video), and PPT doesn't want to insert either of those.

What's the easiest thing for me to do at this point? Thanks, and sorry for asking such a simple question.

The website www.vcdhelp.com usually has solutions for this kind of stuff. Just search for ".flv to .avi".

      Here's something I found:

I don't think Office applications support videos with multiple formats. You need to unify it into one format. Quicktime can do that for you, open the file, go to Export and use MPEG-2. AVI is a horrible format, MPEG-2 isn't great either, but it's not very complex so all Windows Apps can read it.

Wouldn't that require Quicktime Pro, or can the normal version do it too?

Yeah looks like it does require Quicktime Pro. Marvo I'll check out your link now, thanks!

Try Handbrake, it'll convert anything to anything.
