What do you use to download torrents and from which sites?

I am currently looking for new sources as my old ones seem to be obsolete.

uTorrent. Best for Windows users.

As for the trackers;

ISOhunt is pretty fantastic, and usually has decently rare ~~albums~~ findings.

torrents.ru is absolutely amazing, and has few flaws, in my opinion. It's all Russian, but most of this is easily overcome if you know how to register, and what to look for when signing in and searching.
You'll have to create an account to search for torrents, and sometimes the servers are down.

Demonoid is rather patchy, but close to my heart. Unfortunately, it's been down for over 2 months. No idea when/if it will be back up again. Invite only, but they're easy to get.

TPB is classic, and good for common movies that you need within the hour. (1500 seeds? Fuck yeah.)

If you have an extensive knowledge of sound quality and inner workings of torrents and such, the test should be easy, but long. I had to wait 4 hours to get in, and I failed. ]:

That's about it from what I know. Waffles.fm isn't as good as What.cd, from what I hear, but I would seed 'til I got a 15.0 ratio to get either of them.

Also, just to brag, I've got about 160GB uploaded :3

Using torrents isn't illegal, only downloading or uploading pirated material is.

Personally, I mostly use torrentz.com. Though google can be surprisingly good too.

Yes, and I thought it was against the rules to discuss it. Because it can be used to download illegally.

You also cannot discuss hammers

So I guess this rule is only invoked when people link directly to copyrighted music? Listen Ynot, it's pretty clear what people want to use the websites linked in this thread for, and that activity should, according to the forum rules, not go on here. The fact that the admins themselves are trying to go through loopholes in order to post warez sites is fucking ludicrous.
I'm not an anti-piracy guy or anything, but when admins blatantly break the rules of their own forum, I call it.

Until you get a law degree and pass the DV bar (and I don't think you have the tolerance to manage it), I think you know where to put your loopholes.

Dont use torrents guys, ur ips are completely exposed ..to the seeder if not to the law agents.. if a new law kicks in, about torrents being illegal worldwide than your screwed... i would suggest you to start using Rapidshare with their premium accounts. They are hosted privately in a neutral country such as switzerland which the FBI or CIA has no juristiction to. Plus its HTTPS based

encyprted by a 128bit encryptor, the speeds are unmeasurable plus the serivce is top notch

It's impossible to enforce a world-wide law, no-one has jurisdiction. Also, a new law coming into effect can only affect offences committed after the law came into effect. That's the policy in most lands.
