Hmmm, I don't get this problem except the odd occasion when DV does that. |

Ok, so I've been using Google Chrome since it came out, and for the past month or two it had been slowing down noticeably. It was still fast, but occasionally it would start loading a page and just sit at a blank white page for a moment or two before finally loading it. Now however, it just sits at that blank white page permanently, it won't load anything. It was coming up with the option to either wait or kill the application at first, the kill option didn't work, and wait would just make it wait 5 more seconds before asking me again whether to kill or wait. Now it doesn't even do that anymore, it just sits a blank page not loading. |

My guess would be that Chrome's cache system is overloading. Try clearing Chrome's cache and reset it. |
I already reinstalled the program, the cache is entirely empty. Like I said, it even deleted all of my bookmarks which I would love to get back if anybody knows how. The program is completely bare bones right now, it's a fresh install and it's still not loading anything. |

Download and install this tool: http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/ |

Try to navigate to DV from Chrome while Fiddler's running. Then in Fiddler, click on the Inspector tab. You should see a request being made to dreamviews.com. Click on that, then post another screenshot please |

Hmm, so Chrome is making the request, but they're failing for some reason. Click on the button that says "Response may be encoded..." Then click on Raw on both the top and the bottom. |
Also, can you tell me if there is any way to get my bookmarks back? I had like three years worth of bookmarks I'd rather not lose, if possible.... |

Click on the Response may be encoded button again. The second one is the one I'm curious in. The first request it made was the autocomplete it seems. |
Well, it's not Chrome. Something is interfering with Chrome. I can tell by the fact that both autosuggestion requests returned something, but Fiddler says that they failed. My thought is that you have some spyware that targets Chrome specifically. My guess is that the spyware reroutes Chrome requests into it's own proxy, so it can see what you're searching for. |
Check the automatically detect settings box, then you should be able to use Chrome again |
Hmm... I'm out of ideas. Out of curiousity, were you trying to install something while running Chrome, I noticed two installsheild requests fired. |
Perhaps after setting the automatic settings, it needed a reboot to take effect |
