Ever heard of it? I just downloaded it and it's pretty cool. Mine runs A LOT smoother and better than that vid, though the graphics are the same. A hybrid of the and Garry's Mod would rock some serious sox
"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."
yeah, they never created a vista compatible version before the companies servers died out of business.
I'm on XP so it's working beautifully for me.
I would pay some serious cash for a Garry's Mod version ( being it Garry's Mod has better graphics and can be moded for a more personal touch) If someone ever came out with a plugin for Garry's Mod that used the 3Dna system... OH hell they would be rich shits
I think the reason this died out so soon was because it came out when young people having personal computers weren't to regular and the graphics minimum req. at that time in a comp were expensive so only adults would've used this or rich kids. Basically it came out a little before it's time and was dropped a few years short. This was an amazing find for me, as i'm a big fan of the old duke nuke em games and sims, so this is like an awesome combo of everything classic but good in a desktop.
Think about it, this type of thing coupled with the new project natal and motion sensing technology could create a new way of virtual browsing/communicating. Damn, it makes me wish i knew all the in's and out's of computer programming, i'd dedicate my life to this... this looks to me like an untapped well of possibilities.
