Didn't notice it happen

It's about 8am, Ive just woken up. I write down the dream I just had in my dream journal. Because it's the weekend I'm excited to get some more dreams in and maybe a lucid one. Because I'm new to the concept of lucid dreaming and don't know much about it I try an attempt of what I think WILDing is. I'm tell myself the next scene wil be a dream and look at some weird sort of images in my mind. I start to see a picture of a big eye and keep looking into it and I start hearing a sort of humming noise. Then my parents come up the stairs with the dog and come into my room. They say they are going out and then the dog jumps on my bed (because he always sleeps on the end of my bed but Ive stopped this because I think it might anoy me or wake me up). Anway, so I push him off the bed and he jumps up again like he always does, so I push him off again and he jumps up again. Then I sit up and roll him over and near his genitals are heaps of tiny little purple hands. My mind convinces me this is normal and then soon after I wake up. I had no idea I had even fallen asleep and I have no idea at what point I fell asleep. The noises and the picture of the eye could have been in my dream, it was so amazing and confusing. Ive read how you may think when trying to WILD to think youve gone back to the relaxation stage, but your actually in a dream, i think the same happened to me expect I couldn't obtain lucidity.

That's good that you could transition well, it seems like your only problem is not RCing. Make sure to do an RC whenever you get interrupted, or you stop trying to WILD. Something similar happened to me in a WILD, only I got interrupted by my brother stealing my stuff, I was so mad I woke myself up, then I spent the whole day thinking how I could have WILDed successfully had I just RCed when I got "interrupted". Make it a habit to RC after every "failed" attempts. Other than that, really good job, you seem to be a natural at WILDing, try again sometime and post your results.

Cheers, I will keep probably try again next weekend or maybe sometimes int he week before school, although I think it might have been a fluke to even get that far

Try whatever you did again and it should happen as quickly, although it might feel different. If any problems do come up, then try waking up earlier to do a WILD, so you'll be more tired. GL
