so ive been getting pretty good at having WILDs after I've had like 4-5hours of sleep. It seems that when I try and push the limits, like after Ive had like 9 9.5hrs of sleep, I get this really bad head/ear sensations as im going into the dream.

its happend on like 2-3 occasions now, and it seems to always happen towads the very end(8-9hrs of sleep) sleeping. I just sort of blurred out of a lucid dream and I'm back in my bed. I dont move. I'll be lieing down, feeling my body in my bed. And I just watch my breath, feeling my full body breathing and hoping to go back into another lucid dream. Then I feel the sensations of losing my body and I can kinda roll out or float up, and a lot of the times I focus on that buzzing/ringing sensation in my head and it intensifies, and after a few seconds i can open my eyes in my lucid dream. BUT THIS MORNING, it intensified into extreme pain, so i stopped it. It hurt pretty bad, I remember thinking to myself, wow this cant be good ima just wake up, but I was in sleep paralysis and I couldnt move. I was just stuck there in this weird pain, waiting for sleep paralysis to wear off, and it did after about 10seconds.

What I think im doing to my ears is sort of opening them up a bit. I mean you can do it when you're awake, just focus on your ears, try and open them up. hard to explain, but you'll hear like drumming in your ears. I think this is what I'm doing when I'm intensifying it as I fall into the dream.... Theres no pain when I wake up though. strange.

Anyone else have similar experiences. I think ima just stop messing with my ears as im falling into sleep paralysis, stick with rolling over/floating up techniques. That pain was no joke
