Question Possible Sleep Paralysis Method? / Was I close?

Ok so, sorry if this has already been asked or mentioned. I think i read something similar somewhere but I cant remember exactly, even with a search.

Anyway, I keep thinking I'm getting pretty close to SP, but not sure how far. More on that later though.

As inspiration from them youtube videos that I posted some time ago (and everyone thought that it was just me trying to sell some crap xD), what I thought was...

As Nick says in the video
"Sleep Paralysis is most likley to occur if you wake up and don't move at all. Your body might not think you actually wake up if you dont move, so it will re-paralyze"
      or something along those lines.

So I thought, would there be a quicker way by pretending you were dreaming and woke up, stayed still and "re-paralyzed".

What I did was relaxed for about 10 min at least. Then, just gently at first, started to rapidly move my eyes around (to fake REM) and getting quite wildly moving. After doing this for a while, I started to feel a bit funny, I cant think how to describe it exactly, but I was just wondering if I actually got close with this. I kept going through the feeling, and I think i actually twitched a few times accidentally.
It diddnt actually work for me, but I tried again the next day, but this time i stopped and relaxed again when I got the feeling. Still, a similar, failed result.

To be honest, I havent been trying in a while, but it was just last week, i thought Id give it a go. I have had some "normal" DILDs recently though. (hehe, DILD makes me think with my dirty mind )

So, from what I seem to remember, I felt warm, mainly in my chest area. I felt like i wanted to move but I diddn't. (To add to a possible effect of the WILD, i imagined i was running). It went really intense, but then just faded away. It felt a bit like i couldnt breathe.

This is possibly my downfall, because i think that I try to correct my breathing myself, rather than letting it naturally go.

So, what do you think, and would you have any tips for me?

I myself have not been able to complete the SP stage, but I can get to it no prob. I did try the Rapid eye movements, and I think that just makes you light headed, or a little dizzy. It definitely feels different from the onset of SP. All I can tell you is allow your self to breathe in shallow, quick breaths. Don't force it though. Your body will require less oxygen as it shuts down for the night, but breathing shallow when your body isn't ready for it will just make things harder, if not wake your up more. I just take deep breaths, think about something, and then, after a bit, I slip into my natural sleep breathing rhythm. I found that if I think about something, not to intense mind you (Like a game I've played, or a movie I've watched), but something to distract yourself, while keeping the fact that you need to remain conscious in the back of your mind, it is a bit easier to slip into SP.

For me it was concentrating on not swallowing. Most people say not to do that though, but I guess it works for some.
