Using Sleep Paralysis to Enter a Dream?

I was just wondering... is it possible to straight up enter a dream from sleep paralysis? The scenario being: "Okay, I'm going to go to sleep tonight and will try to induce sleep paralysis. Once that happens, I will think of a scene/subject and a dream will start to form around that particular thing." Is this possible? After attaining SP can you start your dream on whatever you want or are thinking of? (Or, is the mind ready for dreaming at this point?)

Hoping for some insight on this. Thanks!

That is exactly what you are trying to do when inducing sleep paralysis. When inducing sleep paralysis you can enter dreams directly and if you are experienced enough you can quite literally form anything around you.

I know this. But is it possible coming from a period of awakeness.. such as the day itself. "The very FIRST time you lay down in bed at night, can you do this" is my question.

It might be possible, but it's damn difficult, and the dream will be extremely unstable. It's just not worth it.
